Zum dritten mal wurden Gestern die Asian Film Awards verliehen, wie immer im Rahmen des Hong Kong International Film Festivals. Tokyo Sonata, der aktuelle Film von Kiyoshi Kurosawa (“Pulse”), wurde als bester Film ausgezeichnet. In den Jahre zuvor ging der Preis übrigens an die koreanischen Filme “Secret Sunshine” und “The Host”.
